Overwhelmed
I am not to sure what I feel like blogging about. I feel there is so much going on my head is spinning... I am sure many of you are feeling the same way. I just want to mention how happy I am that we are able to end our week with such a great class. I love being able to move around and interact with everyone, the four hours fly by! I particularly liked the volleyball type game that we played last class. Volleyball has never been a strong area for me and it was something I used to dread doing in phys.ed in school. That game took away the pressure of making sure the ball went over the net, (along with many other things) which is something I struggle with. I am loving all of the activities we are learning and I am planning on teaching a phys.ed lesson in pre-internship!

I totally agree! I loved the games we played last class in phys-ed! I could NEVER get the hang of serving the ball overhand! I hated gym with volleyball because I always had to serve it underhand and everybody else could serve it overhand. Playing with the beach ball gained my confidence because I was actually able to serve the ball overhand!! YAY! ha ha... I love all the activities we do in phys-ed as well. I find them so much fun and obviously if we have fun - the kids would have fun! I love the badminton game we played last class too. All you need is pylons and a bouncy ball. That's it! And it teaches the same concepts as badminton - such as moving around on the court, where to stand, where to throw the ball for strategy, and how you move quicker! LOVE IT!!
